more magic...

I'm so glad that you've all been enjoying my photos from my trip to England, here are some more from Great Dixter, just over the border from Kent in Sussex. It's been a busy week working towards a new exciting web design for Bumpkin Bears as well as starting on a new commissioned panda. I went for a lovely walk in Belgium last weekend in a nature reserve with wild deer and wild ponies and we got to see a cute red squirrel scampering up the tree before I could get a photo! But I'll share the other photos with you in my next blog post. Happy weekend, Catherine x

Magic still exists...

On our trip to Kent in England we visited Great Dixter, I have always wanted to visit these gardens and beautiful home of Christopher Wright, an amazing inspiring magical plantsman that sadly passed away a few years ago. His head Gardener and right hand man for many years, Fergus Garrett, now continues to inspire and delight anyone that enters the grounds. I took so many photos I'll show you more over the coming days. It truly is the most special place and I hope you get a feel for it with some of these photos..... enjoy x

Milly and her lavender

I don't know where the week has gone, I've been so busy bringing a new bear to life that I've not had time to pop by the blog, thanks for waiting around :)

I'd love you to meet Milly, she is a little sweetheart of a bear with the cutest lavender outfit and precious girlie silk bow and ribbon. She just loves being in the garden and can often be found sat near the lavender watching the bumble bees and smelling the wonderful scent. She is available for adoption and you can see all her adoption information on my website Click here to take a look at all her photos.

I'm glad you have all enjoyed the photos of Sissinghurst gardens, next on my trip was Scotney Castle and Manor, it was with the same family since 1778 and in 1835 architects and a garden designer were commissioned to create the landscape gardens and castle. It really is the most romantic place set deeply in the beautiful rolling hills of the Kent countryside. I hope you enjoy experiencing a bit of it through my photos. Next to show will be the fabulous gardens of Great Dixter, so pop back soon. Thanks for leaving comments, it is always lovely to hear from you all :) Catherine x
